trim your ends about every month or every other month it keeps the slit ends off and is also proven to keep hair healthy.

You should probably get 1-2 inches trimmed off the ends, then use a good moisturizing/anti-frizz shampoo/conditioner. Try not to straighten and blowdry every day if you can avoid it.

You're going to need to cut it. You don't have to cut very much off. Just go to your stylist and ask them to cut off as little as possible to get to the healthy part of your hair. Once you do that, use a good shampoo and conditioner to keep it healthy. Also use a leave-in conditioner once a week and don't straighten it as often. Only do it when you absolutely have to.

Trim it. Stop straightening your hair. I did. My hair was very dry and nasty..but now its healthy again.

Get your ends cut and use a good conditioner.

Definitely trim it and put in a balm to help prevent the breakage. I like to use BioSilk Silk Therapy - it is a great product that adds shine and softness to your hair.

To begin with, trim your hair about 2-3 inches to get rid of the dry and knotty ends. Your hair will not grow unless you do this, you'll just get more dry split ends.

Also...to prevent this from happening again, I suggest you give yourself a day in between straightening your hair. Also, if you can, don't chemically alter your hair with colour or blow dry your hair. All of these damaging situations dries out your hair and can cause many problems.

If none of this helps you, I suggest you also contact a nutritionist. It's very common for people to assume that straightening their hair is the only cause of dry and damaged hair. However, what you eat does have a consequence on your hair, skin, and nails.

Trim the ends to fix the problem. Then, to prevent it from happening again, use a thermal spray. Spray it on right before straightening it. Also, use a leave-in conditioner to make it soft. Hopefully, you can reverse your damaged hair.

Try to stop straightening your hair everyday, if you must, put a heat protector so the straightener won't fry your ends. Also, only straighten when your hair is absolutely dry!! Not damp, not wet, dry.

Cut your hair 1-2 inches to get rid of split and dry ends. This will promote healthier hair.

Use a spritz of detangler for your hair. I'm not sure which detangler works best.

Try Biosilk: Silk Therapy, it smooths out the frizzy ends and makes it really silky and smooth. Buy it at Costco, it's about $10 over there. If you get it at a drugstore, its $12-$15.

Hydrating shampoos are recommended. Try Matrix's Biolage hydratherapy (works really well) or you can try Head and Shoulder's Ocean Lift for cheaper prices. They both work well, even though Matrix is better.
