I have the same issue as u but luckiely i found a good remedy. Dont listen to them and use mayo or olive oil bc it's messy and it makes ur hair smell. trust me, i tried that before. What i do is shampoo my hair with nexus bc it has silk protein in it and it works like a charm. Then i condition it with the same brand. Once a week i use a conditioning treatment. I hope this work for u also.

there's two things you can do:
1 - warm olive oil treatment. . .it's like 50 dollars at a salon, but they also have it in the grocery store. . .warm it up a little, put it in your hair and wrap it with a warm *(out of the dryer) towel.
-OR-
2. mayonaise - sounds gross, but it works. .. . put mayo in your hair and wrap it in saran wrap. . .or a plastic bag works too, leave it in for a couple hours or overnight. . .
either way works. . .. depending on how much treatment your hair needs. . .hope this helps :o)

Condition, condition, condition. Find a deep conditioning masque or similar product that you can leave on your hair for a while, then rinse out. Use a daily conditioner when you shampoo, or even use a light, leave-in conditioner. Also, keep your hair trimmed to eliminate split ends, which will contribute to frizziness.

Well you should probably put some treatment conditioners in it weekly as well as a spray-on conditioner/ leave in conditioning products. Of course there are many products to tame the frizz and enhance curls, but seriously all you need is some salt water. I just get some salt and water, shake it up in a spray bottle spray it on usually before bed then tie up my hair in a little bobble/ messy bun thingo, sleep on it.......then u wake up and WALA beautiful hair- try it!

I am a stylist from JC Penney's and I deal with dry frizzy hair daily. But in Indiana we also have to deal with humidity. My suggestion would be to try Farouk's Biosilk Silk Therapy. Silk Therapy works well the heat if you use curling iron of flat iron. It protects from the heat and helps to control the frizz. It also works as a conditioner. I use it daily on myself and my clients. Use on wet or dry hair or both. Do not use too much a dime size to start with is good depending on your hair. I can be a little pricey to some people but a little bit can go a very long way and it is so worth it. Remember dry hair is frizzy using a shampoo and conditioner with moisturizers in them will help also.

If it's just straight and frizzy, then get alternas Shine and Texture Catalyst, this locks out humidity, put that on wet and blow dry. Also, the comb attatchment for Hairdryers are a godsend! That gets your hair really str8 while you dry it!
