It depends on what kind of iron you have(cheap or expensive). But once a month should be fine(: just as long as you don't straighten it EVERYDAY. And be sure to use hair protection sprays just in case.

its ok nuthin that will seriously damage! but even taht one time use a heat protector spray. tresemme line has one and its pretty good. it will also make ur finished style better.

Once a month is okay. If you want to do it more often or you just want to be really careful Matrix has a heat protection hairspray that you spray on before you apply the hair iron.

no i suggest using a blow dryer its actually much better than an hair ironer because it doesnt fry your hair its actually better for your hair if you use an anti frizz syrup and yes even when using a hair ironer 1 time a month it still damages your hair so just stop using it

I use mine everyday during school.You can also get this stuff from Sally's and it helps keep your hair from getting fried.
