Use a leave in conditioner every day. They make spray ones that are light wieght (I use Infusium 23) and I use it all the time, and sometimes I feel like my hair is TOO silky.

(Never greasy, though) You just have to find the right one.

Try a moisturizing shampoo AND conditioner. Nexxus has a great line. Also make sure that the water that comes from your shower is soft water and not hard. Hard water will frizz your hair just from getting it wet.

I have naturally curly hair and until I got a hot oil treatment it was frizzy and hot and thick. I had it thinned out and then had the hot oil treatment put in. I think I payed sixty something for it. That was the best thing I've ever done for my hair!

There's this shampoo set called Biosilk that I used for a few years that really helped. It comes with the shampoo, conditioner, and oil (to put on wet or dry hair). This is the best product I've ever used! Its about 30 dollars for all three and J.C. Pennies sells it.

Remember to always use conditioner and to blow dry your hair straight down until its completely dry. (Thermasilk brand is a really good heat activated shampoo that I like to use when I can't afford the Biosilk.)

Try a hot oil treatment first and then make sure when U wash Ur hair follow it up with a good conditioner,let it set in Ur hair a good 2 minutes before rinsing it out.If U are using heated appliances(rollers,straighteners) pick up some heat tamer products,they are available everywhere but since U are just getting started try a beauty store like Sally's or something their people are pretty helpful,just ask...

If Ur hair is real thick and heavy get a new sheik hair cut/style-along with everything else U'll definitely see a difference...Good Luck.!

You can apply hair serum or leave in conditioner to your hair when it's half dry.
