Dry, frizzy, and thick hair! HELP!?

how do i make my hair piecey, full of moisute, less frizzy, and thinner?!!!

Dry, frizzy, and thick hair! HELP!?

You could try John Freida's Frizz Ease. Get your hair sheared to thin it out. Slather mayo all over your hair and go to bed with a shower cap on (and a towel over your pillow!). Piecey hair can be done with gel. Humidity is often the cause of the frizzies; since there's not much you can do about the weather, use products that contain silicone and try to make the best of it. Still frizzy even when it's not damp outside? You might be handling your hair too much. After you wash your hair, gently squeeze out excess moisture with a towel 閳?never rub! When you blow-dry, use a round natural-bristle brush (after your hair is partially dried), and be sure to dry your hair completely. During the day, don't brush your hair 閳?just use a wide-toothed comb when necessary or, better yet, use your fingers. Silicone serum, styling wax or pomade will also help tame the frizz.

Heat helps conditioner to penetrate more deeply into your hair. Wash or wet your hair, gently squeeze out the excess water, apply a good conditioner and put on a plastic cap. Then sit under a warm hood dryer, if you have one, for about 20 minutes, or wrap a towel around your head and leave the conditioner on for at least an hour, or even overnight. Be sure to rinse well.

%26gt;%26gt;This is not Reese's current hair cut, but clients continue to bring in clippings of this cut. They still want it, it's that good and classic. How do you get Reese's pieces?

1. After you shampoo and condition, cut hair to a length where it just hits the shoulders, by cutting into the hair vertically with half-inch chops, making a jaggedy bottom line.

2. Layer the sides and the back by pulling out at a 90-degree angle (round layers) and cutting into the hair vertically again, but now with 3/4-inch chops. This will make the ends even more textured and flicky. Continue until you are halfway up to the middle of the back of the head.

3. For the upper part of the hair, do the same, but go into each section and cut even deeper, about an inch, to give maximum volume.

4. Bangs are light and piecey. Section a triangle in front about 2 1/2 inches wide, with the point in the back of the triangle section about a half inch deep. After you cut a horizontal line to below the eyebrows, start slithering with a scissors in a vertical direction down the face until you get the right amount of separations and lightness for the look.

5. Use a small squirt of organic Giovanni Straight Fast lotion, emulsify it in your hands, and apply through the hair like a rake. This will reduce frizz.

6. Drying the hair. Again, using your fingers like a rake, first direct the nozzle of the blow-dryer upward to flick the hair up while you run your hands down thru it. Flip the ends of the hair up while you run your fingers thru it again.

7. Use a medium-sized round brush when doing the top in an over-directed fashion to add maximum fullness.

8. When the hair is dry, section off the last 2 inches of hair on the bottom and sides. Pull the hair out diagonally in quarter-inch sections and, with a razor, chew at the ends about one inch.

9. Take a bit of stick wax pomade and emulsify it in your hands, being careful not to use too much, or it will make the hair greasy. Put head upside down and rake your hand through the hair, starting from the neck, for about a minute. While you do this, pinch and pick up the ends of the hair to create that great texture in this picture.

10. Finish the style right-side up and scrunch, pushing it into place. Put a little hair spray on your fingers and quickly pinch some of the ends of the flip to make it stay and look edgy.

You need to find a good stylist and good hair products. The first thing you need to do is find a good conditioner that works for your hair. I like pantene because I don't like spending a lot of money for salon products, and it works really well for me. You will probably also need to get a good trim and get your hair thinned out.

Dry, frizzy, and thick hair! HELP!?

layers can help make your hair thinner, but it'll make your hair poofier, you could try straightening your hair, and pantene has a buch of de-frizzer spray like things, I have like 10.

Dry, frizzy, and thick hair! HELP!?

get an ionic straightner. they don't harm your hair as much, and they get it straighter. Hair Spray, new smampoo, and strong conditioner.

Dry, frizzy, and thick hair! HELP!?

I have thin hair so I don't know if this will work as good for you, but I bought Aussie shampoo and conditioner and it is awesome!!! I don't usually believe it when they tell you they add moisture, less frizz, etc, but this stuff is really amazing!

My hair dresser told me that Pantene is the worst for your hair because it actually puts a coating of something (I forget what its called) on your hair.

Dry, frizzy, and thick hair! HELP!?

First of all, i am partly indian and i have really thick hair. BUT DONT THIN YOU HAIR. To deal with drynesss, use Herbal Essence Hello Hydration shampoo and Conditioner. To do with the frizzieness, use a less frizz serum, they really work.

Dry, frizzy, and thick hair! HELP!?

first off, do you have any highlights or colors in your hair? because that might be the problem.. so you should cut those part off. and get layers.

Dry, frizzy, and thick hair! HELP!?

You can go to a hairstylist and have them cut it a certain way to thin it out and get rid of any split ends while they're at it. That will help with some of the thickness and the frizzies.

To finish taking care of it...use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and always use a silicone based serum. (The serum takes care of alot of the frizzies.)

Depending on the kind of "piecey' look you want, you can use a mousse or gel and a curling iron to make defined ringlets allover or you can use a pomade-type product to give a chunky, beachy/surfer kinda style or the dreadlocks-type of 'piecey' look.

Dry, frizzy, and thick hair! HELP!?

use herble essensse curly shampoo and conditioner, then put it in a pony tail until it is dry or slighty damp. then ues herble essensse gel. just use a little, to prevent friz. after the gel dries lightly brush it (not very much, just so that there arent any gel clumps. then do whatever you want with it. also the next time you get it cut, you could get it layered

Dry, frizzy, and thick hair! HELP!?

If you have curly hair you can get Sunsilk luster and shine. I have curly hair and it works so well with the shampoo, conditioner, creme, hairspray, and mousse. buy from target. To make it less frizzy and piecy after you wash your hair squish gel in your hands (frizz-ease by sunsilk) and scruch your hair. blow dry on low setting while smoothing so it tames flyaways and hardens on your hair. To make your hair thinner go to a salon and ask them to thin your hair. i tried it and it makes your hair feel so much less poofy and heavy. to have more moisture rub oil in to your hair 30 mins before a head shower and wash it so when you come out, its soft and smooth. also don't wrap a towel around frizzy hair when drying, try a cheap cotton shirt or something made out of cotton. towels make curly hair more frizzy and staticy. good luck

Dry, frizzy, and thick hair! HELP!?

i had the same problem but then i went to my hair dresser and asked him to thin out my hair it took awhile but it was worth it my hair is now thinner and less frizzier!

Dry, frizzy, and thick hair! HELP!?

use conditioner after shampooing. Comb out your hair, Let it dry a little. Then put a serum, or a hair smoother. Blow your hair out straight. Then put some hair gloss and iron your hair with a flat iron. Chi irons or similar ones work very well. This is a long process but it works, I have thick, frizzy mexican hair, I've always hated it, but I have to do all these steps so I don't look like the bride of frankenstein.
