Any moisturizing shampoo. Make sure that you change it once a week. You can have three shampoos and change them out frequently. It works pretty well. You can also put a whole bunch of lotion on your hands as you dry you hair. Run your hands through your hair. It helps my friend.

Joico K-Pak Hair Reconstructor - use once a week. Comb through and leave on for 1/2 hour then rinse %26amp; style like normal.

Also use Infusium23 in a small sprayer after every washing %26amp; L'Anza Leave-in Protector also after every washing. Be sure to use a cream rinse conditioner (anything will do).

Key is to wash %26amp; condition hair first then put up with a clip while washing the rest of you (hair HATES body soaps!), then rinse it last.

Don't use hair dryers and avoid any product that has alcohol in it - all these things dry hair out.

Finally, trim the ends about every 4 weeks (just a little bit) and eventually your hair will be in good shape again - it worked for me!

soak it in olive oil for a few hours. it is hard to get out but worth it.
