well i usially put it on wet

and i think it didnt wash out completely when i did it dry

but ive been reading around and it says its better when you have dry hair..

so which is better? wet or dry?

You know how if you mix oil and water, they separate?? Well the oil won't be able to fully saturate your hair if it is coated with water...understand?

i have always done it when it was dry.. it never fully washes out until like the second or third shower.. i think it's easier for the hair to absorb if your hair is dry cuz there is no water in the way..

i put it in when it's dry, but i had the same problem, do it when u have enough time to wash your hair twice, cuz it's really great for your hair!! oh yea, and it's best to leave it in over night, so if u have a saturday that u don't have to do something on till later that day then put it on the Friday night b/4, then the next morning wash ur hair twice, maybe even 3 times, then your good to go!!

i do it when my hair is dry and i'm due to wash my hair.

i put it in my hair for a few hours (i have really dry, coarse, thick and curly hair) and make sure you massage it into your scalp.

if you don't like the smell, substitute for almond oil.

you might have to wash it a few times, but it when you come out of the shower, your hair will feel super-silky.

I do it when it's dry. I have Thick course naturally curly hair and I apply it to my ends only and don't rinse. But I use Bertoli's Extra Light so it doesn't have a strong smell or is too heavy. It makes my ends really soft and smooth when straightening.

Try to find lanolin (not pure, too thick, but mixed lanolin product); however, if you use olive oil, comb it through dry hair and then take a towel, wet it, put it in the microwave oven, long enough to get it hot--wrap your hair in the hot towel and leave in until towel is cooled off--if you have time, repeat. Then later wash hair really well.
