mousse helps your hair with many things. it helps with volume and gives your hair more body. mousse also helps set your hair up, meaning if you curl it or do something with it, it will hold. the way you use it is you squirt it in your hand and comb it through your hair with your fingers. you would want to apply it usually when your hair is damp.

moose is a styling aid and you should put it in wet hair but can be put in dry also!!! it is lighter then gel
