Try a henna conditioner. You can get them at any pharmacy or Wal-mart. They come in a foil pack and run about $2. You leave it on for a few hours then rinse. Hot oil never worked for me, but some people like it.

First off if you haven cut it within the last couple of months get the dead ends cut off. Then next time you wash you hair do a realy good deep conditioning treatment on yourself. You can buy them at bueaty supply stores such as sally bueaty and usually what you do is wash and towel dry you hair then put the conditioner in and let it ist for several minutes befor rinsing out. Also make sure you are using a hair serm to help protect you hair when you blowdry it.

Also if you currently use conditioner and you hair is still dry consider switching to a leave in conditoner.

First off, a good leave in conditioning treatment is best. V05 Hot Oil is a great one to use. Let it really cover your hair from root to tip and keep it in as long as you can.

If that doesn't seem to help out - it maybe your styling products. They might be too full of alcohols that your hair can't handle too much off. Lastly, it could be your heat stylers. Curling or straightening irons, blow dryers ..

Lastly, try not to wash your hair as frequently (if you can get away with it and just wet it) then brush it out at night. When you don't wash your hair, the natural oils produced at the root are able to absorb and as you brush, you carry it down the hair folicle.

Put hair conditioner after shampooing. Don't blow dry the hair unless you put hair cream before blow drying or else it will be too dry. When I was a child my mom always put Jhonson's baby oil to our hair before bathing and it proves not to dry our hair. Hope you get good ideas here.

Is it normally dry or did you chemically alter your hair? Use a oil treatment and put a warm towel over it while its working.Condition it and quit using chemicals and heating tools on it until it heals!!

Buy some hot oil treatments. Use them, then when you wash your hair use a moisturizing shampoo. Then, when you condition your hair, leave it in for a few minutes while you do other things (wash your face, etc.) in the shower, then rinse it out. If this seems to be over kill, example, your hair appears too greasy, then just use a regular shampoo, and do the same thing w/ the conditioner as I suggested.
