Get leave-in conditioner! It is pretty cheap, found in Heath/beauty sections of super markets. I think Garnier Fructise makes a pretty good one, plus it smells really good.

buy a deep conditioning treatment at any place they sell hair products. if its REALLY bad and you dont mind paying the money, go to a salon for a deep reparitive conditioning treatment. I dont know how much they cost in other areas, but at the salon i used to work at, the treatment was only $10.

There are plenty of moisturizing conditioners out there. Personally, when my hair is dry I use the 3- Minute Treatment conditioner. Afterward my hair is silky smooth.

I have natural hair, and this is what I use...

Mix in a plastic bowl...

1/4 cup Olive Oil

2 squeezes of your fave conditioner

1 packet of cholesterol hot oil treatment...

(all of these things you can find in Wal-Mart)

also, any plain Astringent ( the off brand is OK too)

Mix (olive oil, conditioner, hot oil) and put them in your hair, put a lot on the ends, where most of the damage is...

Put on a shower cap

Leave it in for 1-2 hours (sit under a heated dryer if you have one)....

After the time has passed, dab astringent onto your scalp (just a tad, to refresh your scalp)

Then rinse it out...

This treatment is the best I've used...

You should use it once a week....

My hair used to be UNBELIEVABLY dry because I have died it sooo much! ...I do something that my stylist told me to do and it works amazingly!!... Get a good conditioner (not leave in) - preferably one used at a salon, like Tressemme (can find at grocery store). When your done shampooing your hair (which dont do everyday because that dries it out as well)... add conditioner, leave it in for 5 mins and rinse it out.

When your done, squeeze your hair to get water out, and add a pea size amount of conditioner to your hair. Towel dry and leave in for the night. WHen you wake up your hair should be MUCH better! Mine sure is!

I use Infusium leave in- that stuff is amazing! I have really think, curly hair and by the time I'm dont fixing half of it- the other half is dry! Spray some of that on there and it helps 100%! Also helps with frizzies too! And its not expensive- you can get it almost anywhere!

I use hair wax, by schwartzcoff or dippity doo, both make relatively inexpensive waxes. It makes hair shine too, while holding a style. Take a finger full and rub it into hands and scrunch your hair, works perfectly!

when your hair is about 80 % dry after a shower, put some light gell in it. or some sculpting cream on it. start at the ends and sork your way up to the root .

I used to have that problem too. My hairs really thick and curly. If your hair is curly even when its wet than its like mine so I can help.

I condition my hair every day and wash it every 2 or 3 days. I shower every morning too, and at the end of my shower I rinse it in freezing cold water to make it shiny. Then I stick my head upsidedown and squeeze most of the water out of it. Then I put it in a towel and wait like 10 minutes until its damp but not wet (just dry enough that it won't get your shirt wet). So I take the towel out and put my head upside down again. Then I put mousse in my hair (stops it from being frizzy and holds the curls). And then I put my head rightsideup and scrunch it. I also let it air dry because blow drying it will make it super frizzy.

But if you don't want your hair curly, you can always straighten it.

Try Sunsilk Anti Poof shampoo and conditioner. Follow up with Frizz-Eaze hair products. Use the serum and the gel, be careful not to use to much. Also make sure you keep your hair moisturized and conditioned with hot oil treatments. You can you the Cholesterol brand that is usually carried in Family Dollar stores. This is what I use. I have extremely thick, curly hair and it works for me, Good luck.

If it is long enough, braid it while it's wet. Let it dry that way. When it's dry, undo the braid, and voila, your hair will be in smooth waves. If it is too short to braid, you can do the same thing with a short pony tail. Wrap the pony tail with bands or scrunchies to the end of the hair while your hair is wet, letting it dry that way. When it is dry, it will be smooth, although it won't look as nice as if you had braided it.

i kinda had the same problem. when your hairs wet, scruch it just with gel, maybe a little hairspray. a lot of gel will weigh it down and make it look good. make sure your hair is really wet, like straight out of the shower

I like Paul Brown and T3 by Tourmaline they both work great. The one inch is the best for most hair length and is easy to handle. You need to take small thin sections and use a flat iron heat protector spray prior to ironing, I like "Ion" flat iron spray, you can get it at Sally's beauty supply, it also helps get the frizzies out but don't use too much or it will make your hair look and feel greasy.

use conditioners, hot oil (it's a way of treating hair using coconut oil...i don't know if it's familiar at where you're from), hair treatment...if possible, herbal-based stuff. or if you have coconuts there, massage the coconut milk into your hair.

also try not shampooing your hair everyday--alternate with conditioner. like, one day you'll use shampoo and conditioner, the next only conditioner. whatever's fine with you. good luck with your hair. ^__^

if you use aussi moist shampoo, then use their deep 3 minute miracle condition after, it always make my hair ridiculously soft! when you leave the conditioner in though, leave it in for more like 10 minutes instead of just 3 and it should work very nicely.

Give your hair protein treatments (egg, half an hour before washing)

U can also try applying ripe mashed avocado to ur hair, leave for half an hour before washing, it will make your hair soft.

Get a shampoo with frizz controll, and put in conditioner. for me i spray a Little bit of hairspray into my brush when i comb it to help a Little bit. Also you can spray a Little in your hair, gentely (on a low speed) (not to warm that drys out hair) blow dry it for about 10 sec. or so (really short) then comb it.

you dont have to use a staright iron every day do you? that' might be making your frizzes worse bc of the heat it infuses in your hair. I f youre going to keep using that flat iron, I suggest buying something called "Turn up the heat" it's available at beauty supply.hair stores and it's to prevent damage to your hair from heat-activated styling. Spray it on each time before you use the flat iron.

Also, a nice alternative to flat-ironing would be wear it curly maybe by using a curling iron as a curling iron allows you to make your hair as curly as you want it to be, either from the roots or only at the tips, and curling irons usually elimate frizz. Also, instead of using electronic appliances, use mousse or gel and have your hair be nice and shiny waves or curls (howveer your hair reacts to gel/mousse determines if it will look just wavy or curly). There are lotsa good gels and mousses out there that can style your hair and eliminate frizz without damaging it.

i have frizzy hair dont wash it every day bc that will dry it out. you can buy a frizz conditoner that helps out on the frizzies i use tresseeme i think thats how u spell that i dont know but i use the frizz conditoner and it works i think they have the shampoo to. you can use frizz gel to use after the shower

First you need to see what is good for your hair and what is bad, and don't buy any shampoo that says "dry and frizzy" . Take a good quality shampoo and see what happens, my sister used to have that but found a shampoo that suits her and now her hair is becoming less frizzy and starting to not be dry. Don't do treatment because it won't last long. try to lso use conditioner, that helps too.

You can use a mayo treatment on your hair that will help; however, if that doesn't do the trick after a couple of weeks then you need to go to your salon and get a treatment usually by Kerasa (sp) after that use a product by Nexxus called Versastiles to keep your hair from being frizzy if you have short hair.

If you have long hair than get the Chi product that you put a dab in your hand this will make your hair feel soft as a baby's booty and I curl mine with a 1 1/2 barrel curling iron to take the frizz completely away. Use Hairspray in each curl and then get Sebastion Concentrated Gel; smooth in the curls to take the crunch out of the hairspray and then brush/style...sometime I have to iron my hair twice for more style and volumn.

Try to use a mixture of shampoo and conditioner without any alcohol in it this causes your hair to dry.

Your hair won't have a product feel but a styled look.

Go to a stylist and get your hair trimmed. Then have her put on it a protein treatment by Redken. (Fiesta and other cheap salons do this for a total of 20.00-cut and treatment). You can have it done inexpensive.

Then buy a salon brand repair shampoo and conditioner.

I LOOOOOVE Redken shampoos. I cant remember the name but its a dark blue bottle. There is also a treatment called "anti-snap". It is good for preventing breakage.

Also one thing that has helped me get my hair healthy is to only blow dry it on the weekends. During the week I just pull it up and let it air dry.

Remember that you are using heat. However, if you can, towel dry it for a while and then finish it off with a hair dryer. The damage will be minimal. You can also try using an instant moisture spray. you hafta learn how to upkeep it straight for a few days. Straighten it one day then don't wash it for as long as you can get away with it. One of my friends has to wash her hair once a day no ifs ands or buts bc it is very oily. I on the other hand wash my hair twice a week. Do whats best for you. But if you do have to wash it every day eventhough you are straightening it maybe only do it on special occasions like weekends. my friend has somewhat oily hair and she'll straighten it the first day.. wash only her bangs the second day.. and wear it up in a ponytail the third day- then she'll wash. Joico K-Pak Hair Reconstructor - use once a week. Comb through and leave on for 1/2 hour then rinse %26amp; style like normal.

Also use Infusium23 in a small sprayer after every washing %26amp; L'Anza Leave-in Protector also after every washing. Be sure to use a cream rinse conditioner (anything will do).

Key is to wash %26amp; condition hair first then put up with a clip while washing the rest of you (hair HATES body soaps!), then rinse it last.

Don't use hair dryers and avoid any product that has alcohol in it - all these things dry hair out.

Finally, trim the ends about every 4 weeks (just a little bit) and eventually your hair will be in good shape again - it worked for me!

I use Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner (for women of color) and then I use Motions Ultra Conditioner (purple and gold bottle). You have to let the Motions conditioner sit for about 15-20 min. and then rinse it off. But these 2 products work wonders on my hair as I am also a mixed woman. Also you can spray a Little in your hair, gentely (on a low speed) (not to warm that drys out hair) blow dry it for about 10 sec. or so (really short) then comb it.

you dont have to use a staright iron every day do you? that' might be making your frizzes worse bc of the heat it infuses in your hair. I f youre going to keep using that flat iron, I suggest buying something called "Turn up the heat" it's available at beauty supply.hair stores and it's to prevent damage to your hair from heat-activated styling. Spray it on each time before you use the flat iron.

Also, a nice alternative to flat-ironing would be wear it curly maybe by using a curling iron as a curling iron allows you to make your hair as curly as you want it to be, either from the roots or only at the tips, and curling irons usually elimate frizz. Also, instead of using electronic appliances, use mousse or gel and have your hair be nice and shiny waves or curls (howveer your hair reacts to gel/mousse determines if it will look just wavy or curly). There are lotsa good gels and mousses out there that can style your hair and eliminate frizz without damaging it.

I really love Aussie moist products. I use them year around, but found it last summer.. when my hair was also dry. sometimes the "flakes" are from dry scalp and NOT actually dandruff. Try Aussie 3-Minute Miracle (available in drugstores, Wal-Mart, etc). It gives excellent results.
